Government Documents Knowledge Service Platform (GDSP) compiles materials which are publicly released on government websites. The platform includes publications at all levels of government: state council, ministries, and commissions, provincial governments and departments, municipal governments and departments, and district and county governments. At the ministry and state council level, these documents include national regulations, international agreements, and country-wide initiatives. At the local level, these documents include administrative announcements, public works descriptions, and requirements for local residents.
GDSP is a full-text searchable database of official information promulgated by Chinese authorities at all levels (central, provincial, municipal, and district government bodies) via their official websites.
As of January 2023, GDSP contains 6.54 million publications from 1875 to the present. Documents from 1875 to 1949 are primarily treaties established with foreign governments that are now housed on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.
