Schoen's academic and research library experience adds recognized sales and service strength

(Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA) East View Information Services, the world's leading provider of information products and services from Russia/NIS, Eurasia and China, has named Dena J. Schoen to its management team as Sales Director.
Ms. Schoen's strengths include a substantial career serving scholarly and academic libraries with print, subscription and electronic resources. She comes to East View from German bookseller and subscription agent OTTO HARRASSOWITZ GmbH & Co., where she led a sales team as Director of Sales for North America. She is well known and respected in the United States and in international library circles.

Dena earned a B.A. (Magnum Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa), and an M.A. in Slavic Languages and Literature, plus an M.L.I.S., all from the University of California, Berkeley. She has taught Russian, served as Slavic Catalog Librarian at the Hoover Institution, and managed the Russian samizdat collection as Curator of the Open Society Archives in Budapest, Hungary.
Dena Schoen has also served as head of Technical Services at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania, Regional Manager for collection management and development for YBP Library Services and Account Manager for Endeavor Information Systems' integrated library management system software.
