East View Press publishes five prominent English-language journals focusing on issues facing Russia today: The Current Digest of the Post-Soviet Press, International Affairs, Social Sciences, Military Thought, and Far Eastern Affairs. These publications offer immediate insight into the worlds of Russian current affairs, foreign policy, military strategy and social sciences.

Prices and payment terms

All prices listed in our Catalog are annual subscription prices, including airmail delivery to the customer. East View now offers free shipping on all current periodicals (shipping costs on back issue orders still apply). Due to the extreme volatility of the publishing world in the Russian Federation/FSU, all prices are subject to change without notice. However, once an order is placed, East View will not raise its price for the duration of the subscription year. You may pre-pay your order by using a major credit card, sending a wire, check or money order or listing a purchase order for your institution.

Discounts

East View offers significant discounts for quantity and multiple subscription orders for print periodicals originating from Russia, Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus. Multi-format discounts may also apply to titles from these regions. Contact periodicals@eastview.com for further information. Special acquisitions orders, orders for back issues and electronic publications orders may not be subject to discounts.

Serials Updates

Serials Updates from East View provide timely updates with changes to all the serials East View offers. Simply enter your e-mail address in the Serials Updates Registration form, and we'll send you updates by e-mail or fax.

Dispatch Information

You can check the status of your serials shipments by going to dispatch information. This page contains information on most weeklies and monthlies, specifically when the latest issue was sent to your library, as well as the holiday schedules of central Russian newspapers.

Back Issues

We supply back issues of publications in our database. We can help you fill gaps in your holdings and supply some special requests for a surprisingly affordable price. In many cases, if the original is not available, East View may provide a xerographic, electronic or microform copy.

Claims

Prevent gaps in your library holdings with our full claiming service. We will happily send a replacement for any issue up to one year from the original date of publication. We are committed to resolving all claims to the complete satisfaction of our customers.

Cancellations

If for any reason you wish to cancel your subscription, we will promptly credit you toward future purchases or refund your money on all unsent issues.

Shelf-Ready Journals

Strength and durability are key issues in periodical preservation, and East View offers libraries quality journal and periodical binding services as a value-added option with any of our print subscriptions. Delivery. East View uses the most secure means of delivering your subscription to your door. All subscriptions are sent via airmail worldwide from our offices in Moscow and Kiev. If your needs require, we also offer special delivery services, such as consolidated or expedited delivery.

Document Delivery. Fast and from anywhere, East View's Document Delivery service allows the customer to conveniently obtain the information of interest, without the inconvenience of having to search for sometimes difficult to find articles or other information.
