Most to Buy Into Obshchaia Gazeta

Media-Most holding company presient Vladimir GUSINSKY said today that his company will purchase a stake in the Obshchaia gazeta newspaper. "We have been invited to take part in a consortium of Obshchaia gazeta and we decided to join it. I hope the project will be successful and profitable," GUSINSKY told Ekho Moskvy radio, which is owned by Media-Most.

Gusinsky also wants Media-Most to take part in the tender for the sale of a stake in Russia's biggest film company Mosfilm, which is expected to take place next year, according to Prime-Tass. In addition, the company also plans to develop a networdk of movie theaters in Russia.
