1. How do I find what I'm looking for?

There are countless products to discover and buy at East View. If you know what you're looking for, simply enter a term or two into the search box you'll find on most pages of our site and click on the Go! button. Our product search engine, EV Find, allows visitors to search our immense collection. For information specific to your needs, whether you represent a library, government institution, corporation, reseller or have individual interests, try the Information For... section at the top of our Home Page. Visit East View's Site Map for links to the pages in our web site appropriate to your interest. Finally, you can browse and search for products in our on-line store, EV Shop. Click Search Tips for information about entering your search subjects using the Library of Congress transliteration system, or e-mail us at info@eastview.com for help.

2. How do I order?

If this is your first time buying something online, you'll want to place items in your shopping cart and proceed to checkout through our order form. If you prefer, you may e-mail, fax or mail your order to: e-mail to info@eastview.com; fax to 1-763-559-2931, and by mail to East View, 3020 Harbor Lane N., Minneapolis, MN 55447 USA. Institutional orders may be placed using our Online Order Form.

3. How can I pay? Is it safe to use my credit card?

We accept all major credit cards and checks or money orders denominated in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank. Checks must also have a valid nine-digit bank routing number (ABA code), located along the bottom. Shopping at East View is safe. Every credit card purchase you make at East View is backed by our Safe Shopping Guarantee.

We guarantee that every transaction you make at East View will be 100 percent safe. This means you pay nothing if unauthorized charges are made to your card as a result of shopping at East View. Click here to read East View's Security Statement.

4. How do I order a product which is not available in your online store?

East View can fulfill your order in the manner which is most convenient for you. Simply e-mail your request to our Orders department. Further, you may reach any of our departments directly from the Contact East View page, where you will find our phone and fax numbers, as well as e-mail links to each department.

5. Do you ship internationally?

We gladly ship anywhere in the world and have several overseas-shipping options. Read more about our shipping policy in each product section for more on costs and time estimates.

6. What is East View's returns policy?

East View does not accept returns on firm orders/specific title orders unless an item is received in damaged condition or received in error. Please notify East View by e-mail if you received an item damaged or in error, at books@eastview.com. We do accept returns for blanket orders - refer to the Book Services section of our site, or just send an email to books@eastview.com .

7. How do I cancel a subscription or other order?

Please notify East View by e-mail if you wish to cancel a subscription or other order, at periodicals@eastview.com.

8. How can I track my orders?

You can review the status of any order you have placed with East View. Simply click on the Your Account link in the left menu of the home page or EV Shop. From there, you will be able to view or modify any order that has yet to enter the shipping process.

9. How do I register for e-mail updates about your products?

Through our EV Mail New Title Notification Services, East View updates users for free about all new publications of interest to them. For periodicals, Serial Updates allows users to monitor new publications, at no charge. To register, just click the EV Mail or Serial Updates links.

10. What kind of discounts do you offer?

For books, East View offers the following discounts: 15% off the list price for orders of 5-19 books/titles placed at one time, 20% off the list price for orders of 20 or more books/titles placed at one time , and 25-30% off on all blanket-order/approval plan selections. We also offer retail and multiple copy discounts.

For periodical orders, we offer one percent discount on each title for orders of 3-19 titles, and 20% off for orders of 20 or more titles.

Microfilm orders are discounted for Standing Orders, at 20% off, and for Co-subscriptions at 30% off, for orders of the hard copy or online publication in addition to the microform copy.
