records--of more than 200 causes of death in the Russian Federation for
the years 1992 to 1995. Variables for each cause of death include: oblast's;
gender; urban/rural status; and single/five-year age groups. Data compiled
by the Russian Federation's Ministry of Public Health and the Russian State
Committee on Statistice. East View has designed a user-friendly, English-language
