Individual Standards

Every month the Russian authorities publish hundreds of new standards covering all economic activites. Over 4000 new standards are published each year. Although the standards themselves are available only in Russian, as a rule they are also published with a high-quality English language title translation. East View can identify the appropriate standards for a specific industry, as well as perform document delivery and (if necessary) translation services for any identified standard. We also offer a unique, online database of active Russian standards which can help you independently identify the standards of interest to your organization prior to placing your order.

New standards may also be ordered as they appear via a monthly catalog entitled Blank-zakaz, issued by Izdatel'stvo Standartov. All listings are in Russian. This catalog must be subscribed to; price is $48.00 per year. East View will collect orders for customers wishing to collect specific standards announced therein.

Since Russian standards publications are generally cumulative in nature, standards published in previous years--even under the Soviet Union--are still in effect (unless they have been specifically superceded or amended) and thus are of clear utility to an organization or business with appropriate interests. Customers interested in standards which have been published some time ago are therefore encouraged to inquire. East View has access to the necessary databases to locate previously-published standards.
