East View Information Services adds Lawrence Tweed as Account Manager

Lawrence Tweed will work with government and academic research centers to grow information database use.

East View Information Services, the world's leading provider of information products and services from Russia/NIS, Eurasia and China, has added Lawrence Tweed to its operations team as Account Manager.

Mr. Tweed returned to Minneapolis in October from United States Peace Corps assignment in Kyrgyzstan, Central Asia, where he advised Kyrgyz NGOs on management principles and organizational development. While there he directed the Center for American Studies and developed two technology projects. Before that he served as an attorney for various firms, most recently including Thomson/West Publishing where he educated clients on how to use new information technologies.

Lawrence Tweed earned his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law where he was recognized for excellence in legal writing and by the Minnesota Justice Foundation. He earned a bachelor's degree (cum laude) in philosophy, with a minor in Asian studies, from St. Olaf College.
