Natsional'nyi atlas Rossii [The Russian National Atlas]
The 4-volume set
destined to comprise the definitive geographic set on Russia of this Century. All four volumes have been published and are available to order!
The Earth’s largest country in land size, Russia is a geographer’s dream, a land of stunning contrasts, from the Baltic to the Pacific, the Arctic to the Black Sea.
But unlike other major powers, today’s Russia lacked the thorough, detailed atlas she richly deserved. Until now.
Russia’s Ministry of Transportation, in conjunction with the Federal Agency of Geodesy and Cartography, has released the first three volumes of a spectacular hardbound reference work: Natsional’nyi atlas Rossii (The National Atlas of Russia).
Detailed annotation and narrative in Russian accompany the maps in this atlas, which won acclaim at international cartographic conferences. It’s destined to comprise the definitive geographic set on Russia of this century.
