Go directly to the EV Shop Books Catalog for a full listing of over 200,000 books available from East View. You may also just browse for books, or sign up for our New Book Notification "EV Mail" service. You can also search using East View's EV Find feature, by simply entering the title or author's name in the entry field, and clicking on the Go button.
Your purchase on our secure website is convenient and safe. Typically, order fulfillment averages 3-4 weeks from the time of placement. If your order will be delayed, our staff will notify you with an anticipated date of delivery.
Availability
While we would like to have every title in stock at all times; all titles listed online are subject to changes in availability. You will receive an email notification within 72 hours of any titles ordered which are temporarily out-of-stock, and an estimate of the number of days until the title is replenished and once again available for immediate shipment.
In the event a title ordered has become out-of-stock indefinitely or out-of-print, you will receive an email notification within 72 hours to amend your order to include a custom search or cancel it altogether.

Bibliographic Services
Bibliographic services at East View provides annotated bibliographies of books published in Russia and the former Soviet Union on a given topic for a given period. The charges for this service range from $1000 and up, depending on the nature of the topic and the period covered. Bibliographic service charges must be prepaid in full. Grey Literature
East View is the most comprehensive source of conference proceedings and grey literature from the former Soviet Union and from China, offering works that go far beyond those traditionally available. See Grey Literature for more information.
Specific Title Searches
For searches on books published between 1960-1995, a $50 non-refundable deposit is required. For searches on books published between 1917-1959, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required. For searches on books published prior to 1917, a minimum deposit of $200 or more is required. Send an e-mail to books@eastview.com.
Custom Research
East View offers both specific title searches for rare and older items, as well as subject searches to locate publications on a specified topic. Both types of search services require non-refundable deposits which are applied toward the cost of the search and can be applied toward any purchases made as a result of the search. Shipping and Handling
Please note that books are shipped from the offices which stock them; most shipments will come from Moscow, Kiev or Minneapolis. Customers may choose from airmail, surface mail and UPS (unless stated otherwise). Shipping defaults to airmail for items going overseas, and to surface mail for items being shipped within Europe. Shipping prices and delivery time vary depending upon parcel origin, weight and requested shipping method. In general, delivery time for airmail is 14-24 days from date of shipment and delivery time for overseas surface mail is 45-90 days from date of shipment. Discounts
East View offers the following discounts on books: 5% off the list price for orders of 5-9 books/titles placed at one time, 10% off the list price for orders of 10-19 books/titles placed at one time, 15% off the list price for orders of 20 or more books/titles placed at one time, and 10-30% off on all blanket-order/approval plan selections. We also offer retail and multiple copy discounts. Please note that discounts do not apply to publications from Eastern Europe or the USA.
Returns
East View does not accept returns on firm orders/specific title orders unless an item is received in damaged condition or received in error. Approval plans and blanket-order returns must be received within 60 days of the invoice date to be credited.
